I'm a Barcelona based artist
I am Andreas Mayas, a painter whose work blends classic and contemporary techniques. I was born and raised in Germany and through experimentation with different art forms, I discovered painting. I pursued formal art training in some of Europe's leading academies including the Montpellier University of Fine Arts in France and the Royal Academy of Art in London.
My paintings feature bold colours, intricate patterns, and dynamic compositions that have been exhibited worldwide, earning praise from art critics and collectors alike. My art is a reflection of my deep understanding of the human psyche and the mysteries of the universe.Colour is an essential aspect of my art, and I incorporate bright, intense hues with subtle tonal variations to create a sense of depth and dynamism in my work. I'm not afraid to experiment with unconventional materials, such as silver leaf, wood shavings, and glass beads, to add an extra layer of texture and visual interest to my paintings.
My goal is to produce more than just images; I aim to create tangible expressions of my love for life and my commitment to exploring the infinite possibilities of the human imagination.
